About
Opened in 1937 and named after the brook that once ran beneath Greenwich Village. Hemingway, Ezra Pound, Eugene O'Neill, E.E. Cummings, Dylan Thomas, and Joe Gould all drank here. Keith McNally renovated it into what he called a Parisian steakhouse meets classic New York City tavern, and the Black Label Burger that followed became one of the most mythologized dishes in the city. Resy drops 28 days out and the room fills fast. Full menu available to walk-ins at the bar on a first come first served basis.
