Originally the first restaurant outside Manhattan to hold three Michelin stars, Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare relocated from Downtown Brooklyn to a Hell's Kitchen grocery store in 2016 and entered a new era in 2023 under chefs Max Natmessnig and Marco Prins, two veterans who first worked together at three-Michelin-star Oud Sluis in the Netherlands. The room is a glossy walnut counter wrapping around a brigade of cooks with nowhere to hide. The 14-course tasting menu is built primarily around seafood and fuses Japanese and French technique: a beach glass oyster in bright green aguachile, a single scallop topped with caviar in vin jaune sauce. $385 per person before tax and gratuity, business casual dress code, $200 deposit required.
