Chez Fifi Reservations

The Foulquier brothers opened this Upper East Side bistro as a tribute to their mother Firouzeh, known as Fifi, who died in 2018. Her family fled Iran in the 1970s and she later built a life on Park Avenue three blocks away. The Bistrot de Fifi sign in the dining room hung in her kitchen; the candleholders were hers too. Chef Zack Zeidman, formerly of Altro Paradiso, runs a menu of Parisian bistro classics with a nod to coastal northern Spain: foie gras terrine, deviled crab baked San Sebastian style, poulet roti with foie gras jus, steak frites au poivre.
