JG Melon Reservations

Opened in 1972 on the corner of 74th and Third, JG Melon has been an Upper East Side institution for over fifty years: green-and-white checked tablecloths, a dark wood bar, and watermelon art covering the walls. The burger has its own following, the Bloody Marys and martinis have their advocates, and the cottage fries and chili cup are the essential accompaniments. Cash only, walk-in only.
