Married chefs Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli met at Park Avenue Seasons and spent years cooking together before opening this West Village Italian-American room in 2017. One Michelin star, two New York Times stars, James Beard nominations in 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2025. The menu draws from their Italian-American childhoods with dishes that have built their own followings: the pinwheel lasagna for two, a chrysanthemum salad buried under an avalanche of Parmesan, and a house-made root beer amaro to finish. The room is blue-gray leather banquettes, dark checkerboard floors, moody lighting. OpenTable opens at 9 AM, 8 days out. The window is short and fills the same day every week.
