Bar Contra Reservations

Jeremiah Stone, Fabián von Hauske Valtierra, and cocktail scientist Dave Arnold — of Booker and Dax and Existing Conditions — converted the old Contra space at 138 Orchard Street into a cocktail bar in 2024, keeping the creative ambition and ditching the prix fixe. The drinks run $21 across shaken, stirred, carbonated, and on the rocks; the food menu is small and worth ordering from anyway. OpenTable, midnight, 31 days out.
