Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr, both Keith McNally veterans, built Frenchette as their answer to what a French restaurant in New York should actually be. James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant 2019. The kitchen uses a rotisserie and Robata grill to anchor a menu of Duck Frites, Turbot for Two, and Spit-Roasted Lobster, all approached with a lighter contemporary touch than the French canon typically allows.
