Katz's Delicatessen Reservations

Since 1888 at 205 East Houston, Katz's cures its pastrami for 30 days without injection: three weeks in a brine, three days on the smoker, three hours in a boil, then hand-carved at the counter. You receive a ticket on entry and settle up on the way out; the sign above the hanging salamis still reads "Send a Salami to Your Boy in the Army." Walk-in only.
